Our client is a versatile company with a diverse portfolio of services that operates across multiple sectors, including Rail and Engineering. With a continuous growth of infrastructure projects, they are seeking a dedicated structural inspector.

Your new role

We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Structural Inspector with expertise in Level 2 structures. To be successful in this role you will need a current driver's license and a VicRoads inspection certification in Level 2 Bridge Structures. You will have good knowledge of bridges and other civil structures. Your role will be to determine the cause of asset defects and their rectification treatments
In this role, you will play a critical part in:

• Structures Inspection
• Asset data collection & management and data visualisation
• Level 2 and 3 Inspection
• Complex Access Inspections (rope access, underwater, UBIU, EWP, confined space)
• Specialist Investigation & Non-destructive Testing
• Bridge Assessment, Heavy Load Access Permit Reviews &Rail Corridor 3rd party Access

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you must hold a valid driver's licence and VicRoads Level 2 inspection certificate in Level 2 structures.
Ideally, you will have prior experience in infrastructure projects and a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure and civil structures.

• Experienced Civil or Structural Engineer or Tradesperson with a VicRoads Level2 qualification.
• Proven experience in structural inspection, with a focus on Level 2 structures.
• In-depth knowledge of Level 2 structural design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information effectively.
• Proficiency in inspection software and tools relevant to level 2 structures.
